Community Giving
Reverend Butter is a native Houstonian and Proud Texan. He believes that giving back to the Houston community is a priority. The goal of E8GHT Percent Ice Sculpting is to contribute to the Houston community and surrounding areas by donating performances or product to local nonprofit groups, schools and educational institutions that produce positive results locally.
If you would like to request a charitable donation of an ice sculpture, gift certificate for an ice sculpture or local performance, please email Reverend Butter @ ReverendButter@gmail.com. We require all charitable donations benefit non-profit organizations as defined by section 501(c)3 of the IRS tax code.
Please allow at least 60 business days for consideration of your charitable request. We receive more requests from outstanding community organizations than we can provide. Submission of a charitable request does NOT guarantee a donation.
In your email please include:
1. A letter, on your organization letterhead, explaining your event and type of donation (ice sculpture, gift card for ice sculpture, or ice sculpting performance) you are requesting. Include name of event, event date, time and location.
2. A copy of your organization’s 501(c)3 status letter from the IRS. (not necessary for request submitted by public school)
We accept requests on a rolling basis from February 1 to August 31 annually.
